5 years of Aparkado — and a new chapter

Aparkado UG, the maker of LKW.APP, is celebrating its fifth anniversary and looks back on an impressive success story. Since its founding in 2020, the company has grown into a leading provider of smart truck-parking solutions, and stays true to its mission of sustainably improving the working conditions of truck drivers across Europe.

With the LKW.APP, Aparkado has revolutionised parking search for truck drivers. A particular milestone is the company's purpose-built occupancy system, which displays real-time utilisation for more than 40,000 truck parking spaces and substantially simplifies route planning for drivers and logistics companies.

The numbers speak for themselves: more than 100,000 downloads, 20,000 active users per month, and excellent ratings of 4.6 stars on Google Play and 4.7 stars on the App Store underscore the value the app brings to the transport industry.

New challenges for co-founder Philipp Henn

For its fifth anniversary, the team is realigning: co-founder Philipp Henn is leaving the company to take on new professional challenges.

The past years with Aparkado have been an exciting and formative time. Together we achieved a great deal and built a strong foundation for the future. I'm leaving the company in the knowledge that Aparkado and the LKW.APP are on an excellent path.
