Aparkado Opens Its Parking Intelligence to Logistics Systems

Cologne, 9 July 2026 — Aparkado, developer of LKW.APP, is unveiling its new Parking Intelligence API. For the first time, logistics companies, TMS providers and digital platforms can integrate Aparkado's parking data and forecasting models directly into their own systems. The interface provides access to live occupancy data, availability forecasts and route-based parking recommendations for more than 50,000 truck parking spaces across 44 European countries.

The data foundation is built from real-time reports by a community of around 85,000 monthly active truck drivers, historical usage data since 2020, and live data from various partners. With this, Aparkado is expanding its technology — previously focused on LKW.APP — into an infrastructure for digital logistics processes.

Truck Parking Becomes Part of Digital Transport Planning

Finding suitable truck parking remains one of the biggest operational challenges in European road freight transport. Drivers regularly encounter full parking areas, while dispatchers often have to plan with incomplete or outdated information. The result is detours, additional fuel consumption and rising planning effort.

The Parking Intelligence API delivers this information exactly where transport decisions are made. Companies can retrieve parking data along planned routes or around defined locations and integrate it into existing dispatch and fleet processes. Alongside current occupancy data, the API also takes into account forecasted availability as well as the amenities and services of parking areas.

From Parking Data to Concrete Recommendations

The API offers two integration levels.

The Base Integration delivers a relevance-filtered selection of suitable parking spaces, including static location information and current occupancy data.

The Premium Integration prioritizes parking recommendations based on a scoring model. Factors such as forecasted occupancy, remaining driving time, detour, amenities and location fit feed into the assessment. As a result, companies receive not just available options but a prioritized recommendation with suitable alternatives.

This approach makes it possible to automate parking decisions to a greater degree and to support dispatchers in their daily route planning.

Fast Integration Without Entry Barriers

The technical connection is made via REST and JSON interfaces and can be implemented within a few days. Billing is usage-based (pay-per-use), with no setup fee or minimum contract term.
