LKW.APP extends TIMOCOM's tracking system with a driver-friendly solution

By connecting the LKW.APP to TIMOCOM's real-time tracking system, Aparkado has reached a decisive milestone. The solution works without additional hardware and without any login for drivers.

In July, TIMOCOM rolled out its live shipment tracking comprehensively for more than 55,000 customers. The LKW.APP complements this offering and, for the first time, makes it accessible to a broad user group without an in-house telematics solution. The cooperation between Aparkado and TIMOCOM, which started in early 2025 as a strategic partnership, aims to bring digital innovations into everyday logistics operations and noticeably increase transparency in the European transport chain.

The LKW.APP gives transport companies and their drivers an automated, user-friendly solution for shipment tracking. Orders awarded through the TIMOCOM marketplace can be opened directly in the app by drivers via a link. Location sharing is enabled with a single tap and can be controlled by the driver at any time. All location data is transmitted securely and in line with data-protection rules.

Dispatchers and customers benefit from a precise real-time ETA. For drivers, live tracking rounds off the existing LKW.APP feature set into a smart companion for a stressful day: truck-compliant routes based on vehicle profiles, parking suggestions along the way, 41 filters for individual selection, and live occupancy data for more than 50,000 parking spaces across Europe.

The solution can be used without any system change or integration effort and is available immediately — for both iOS and Android. Companies without their own telematics solution can take part in real-time tracking too. Especially on the spot market, where flexibility matters most, the LKW.APP closes a critical gap.
