Aparkado Becomes Part of TIMOCOM

Aparkado / LKW.APP becomes part of TIMOCOM

TIMOCOM, one of Europe's leading FreightTech companies, is fully acquiring the startup Aparkado as of 1 August 2026. Following TIMOCOM's strategic investment since January 2025, the Cologne-based LogTech startup, developer of LKW.APP, thus becomes part of TIMOCOM. For LKW.APP users, the platform remains in place and can continue to be used as usual.

Building on the strategic investment, TIMOCOM and Aparkado have been working together since early 2025 to further develop mobile solutions for European road freight transport. The integration of TIMOCOM live shipment tracking into LKW.APP has already been available for about a year. At the same time, the number of LKW.APP users has grown from around 25,000 to more than 85,000. The close cooperation of the past year and a half has shown that the technological capabilities of both companies complement each other ideally. The full acquisition is the logical next step in this successful cooperation.

Mobile Expertise for European Road Freight Transport

Aparkado develops mobile solutions for professional truck drivers and supports them with LKW.APP in facing the daily challenges of everyday transport work. An active community of more than 85,000 users has grown up around the platform. In addition, the company has technological expertise in developing mobile applications, tracking functionalities and other digital services for the transport process. The ongoing exchange with the community also provides valuable insights into the requirements of drivers' everyday work and supports the continuous development of practical solutions. This technological expertise, together with a deep understanding of the needs of professional drivers, complements TIMOCOM's FreightTech expertise and lays the foundation for integrating mobile applications and marketplace functionalities of the TIMOCOM Road Freight Marketplace even more closely in the future.

"Our goal is to continuously develop the TIMOCOM Road Freight Marketplace in line with the requirements of everyday transport. The successful cooperation with Aparkado has shown how well our capabilities complement each other. With the full acquisition, we are bringing this expertise together permanently under one roof and creating the foundation to consistently develop mobile innovations and digital services for our customers."

— Tim Thiermann, Managing Partner at TIMOCOM

Five Years of Aparkado – Taking the Next Step Together

For founder Roland Moussavi, the full acquisition marks a significant milestone for Aparkado. With LKW.APP, the company has developed a mobile solution for professional drivers that today reaches more than 85,000 users in 44 European countries. The successful cooperation with TIMOCOM now forms the basis for jointly advancing mobile solutions in European road freight transport.

"For five years, LKW.APP has accompanied professional drivers across Europe in their daily work, starting around the topic of parking. Together with TIMOCOM, we will now further develop this approach. For us, this is the beginning of a new phase."

— Roland Moussavi, Founder of Aparkado

For LKW.APP users, the platform remains unchanged. With this acquisition, TIMOCOM continues its strategic course of investing specifically in future technologies and the digitalisation of the logistics industry. The combination of long-standing FreightTech expertise, mobile technology capabilities and close cooperation with an active driver community creates the foundation to continuously develop the TIMOCOM Road Freight Marketplace and to align mobile solutions even more closely with the requirements of transport practice.

Since 1 August 2026, Aparkado UG has been fully part of TIMOCOM.
