LKW.APP expands offer: Happy Trucker parking spaces can now be reserved directly

Aparkado integrates Happy Trucker into the LKW.APP and thus combines the digital search for a parking space with direct booking options. This is Aparkado’s response to the persistently difficult to plan legally required breaks, as well as the associated unnecessary fuel consumption and lost working time in everyday transport.  

Via the Happy Trucker integration, drivers and companies can reliably book available truck parking spaces along the route and thus plan breaks. 

Digital parking search meets direct booking 

With over 50,000 truck parking areas recorded and more than 300,000 downloads, LKW.APP has built one of the largest parking databases in Europe. A specially developed real-time traffic light system shows the current occupancy rate and provides a forecast for the next 15 hours. With the help of over 30 filters, drivers can select parking spaces specifically and store individual truck profiles with information on dimensions and weight. On this basis, the app enables route-based planning tailored to the respective vehicle that reliably takes restrictions into account. 

Through the partnership with Happy Trucker, this offer is now being expanded to include immediately bookable, secure parking spaces in Europe and the UK. Happy Trucker enables the central and binding booking of these locations, bundled via a single company account for the entire fleet. Instead of many individual accesses and billing, administration is carried out via a central monthly billing, which creates transparency and significantly reduces the administrative effort. Processing is completely digital, without the need for telephone coordination or an on-site search.
